The amalgamation of two public organizations representing employees of Russian media, occurred in Israel, said IzRus. In the Amalgamated Association of Russian-speaking Israeli journalists joined the Association of Russian-speaking journalists under the leadership of Michael Gilboa and the Congress of Russian-speaking journalists and artists, who led the Aaron Munblit. Chairman of the Board of the new association was Michael Gilboa.

The initiator of the merger was made by the political strategist Alex Klevitsky. He was appointed honorary president of the Amalgamated Association of Russian journalists.

On the agenda - conducting in Israel, the international congress of the World Association of Russian-language press, with the participation of representatives of major media of the CIS, Baltic States and other countries.

We are also recording new members to the Joint Association of Russian journalists.

On the boards so far only includes representatives of the old generation - veterans of the Israeli “Russian” journalism. The head of a new association hopes to bring to his organization’s activities and more young media professionals, professionally formed already in Israel and engaged in online media.

At the same time he pays attention and the few young journalists, who immigrated to Israel as early as adolescence and managed to break into the major electronic media in Hebrew.
