Head of the Israeli “Likud” party Benjamin Netanyahu, which is mandated to form a new Cabinet of Ministers of Israel, ceased attempts to create a coalition government with the participation of the leader of the party “Kadima “, Tzipi Livni, Reuters transmits.

This decision was taken after the second round of talks with the leader of “Kadima”. “The period of courtship is over, we do not plan any more talks with Tzipi Livni” - the representative of the “Likud” party Dina Libster said.

Recall, that in the early parliamentary elections, held in Israel in early February 2009, “Likud” party and  “Kadima” won roughly the same number of seats in the Knesset.
