The stream of the Russian citizens to Israel was 280 thousands of persons for 10 months present year, that’s almost in two times more than for analogical period the last year, leader of representative office of Ministry on tourism of Israel Neta Pelig-Briskin reported.

“The real growth of Russian tourist’s stream are 95% this year, as compared to the last year, - interlocutress of agency noticed. - I think, for November-December no less than 20 thousand of Russians will arrive to us and thus, general number of the Russian tourists can cross a 300-thousandth border in a present year”.

She also marked, that in a present year 2,6 million foreign tourists visited Israel, that on 35% more than for analogical period 2007. On her opinion, growth of tourist’s stream is related with abolition of visas for the visit of Israel for the Russian citizens, introduced from September, 20th of current year.
