The decision on opening of the new airport in the north of Israel and a choice of its site have been dictated by results of research of relevant requirements for maintenance of the market of aviatransportations which was spent by the general in a stock of Gertsel Budinger. “This airport can serve 4 million passengers annually, having lowered thereby loading on the airport of Ben-Guriona and having facilitated a life for inhabitants of the north of the country”, - has underlined Siterman.

At a rough guess, erection of the new airport will manage in 200 million dollars. In the transport ministry have informed that have already started negotiations with area administration on planning of civil work and creation of large shopping centre at the airport.
